So why, after retiring from national-team duty after 24 years in the game following the Vancouver Games, is Nicholson donning a red maple-leaf cap and sporting a red and orange spandex suit at the Utah Olympic Park. Because Nicholson wants both bobsled and skeleton to be included in the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games at Pyeongchang, South Korea. Nicholson, who sits on the IPC (International Paralympic Committee) board of athletes, said he was recently approached by hopeful future team members who wanted his help to get the ball rolling.
