Leighton Holdings chief executive officer Hamish Tyrwhitt tells Business Spectator's Robert Gottliebsen and Stephen Bartholomeusz: Leighton is reviewing its engineering design quality in the wake of the Desal plant and Airport Link 'disasters' .... Was the Leighton you saw as a senior executive out of Asia the Leighton that you’ve come to appreciate as CEO, Australia is almost at capacity for growth, and while Leighton is not currently constrained by labour skills shortages, Australia will be in the future. Stephen Bartholomeusz : Hamish, I understand that you spent 25 years at Leighton before this abrupt elevation to the CEO role. more...

Hoyt even gets in on the fun with a house show dive to wipe out Skipper, Young, and even Simon Diamond on the floor. Douglas takes control and Skipper tries to help his partner out but Chase Stevens evens the odds and the Naturals dominate. McGuinness gets a chance to show off a fraction of his offense and then Boy gets a small package from out of nowhere to get the win at 5:33. Rating: **. PRESHOW MATCH #2: The Diamonds in the Rough vs. Lance Hoyt The Naturals. The Diamonds come back and clear the ring except for Stevens, who falls prey to a double flapjack for what I would consider an upset victory at 5:49. Back in the ring the Diamonds are able to take control and isolate on Stevens. Andy Douglas tags in and Skipper rakes his eyes and makes the tag to David Young. They continue to trade momentum back and forth and both get a couple of near-falls. He immediately shows off his technical prowess, and mocks his opponent in the process. Eventually Hoyt gets the hot tag and he cleans... more...

Euro 2012 Draw: Reflections Of The Forthcoming Madness
In the same mould as the USMNT in the Confederation Cup 2009, and Switzerland in last years World Cup, Ireland deploy a very resistant, counter attacking 4-4-2, which frankly the Spanish don’t like. Ronan, Ireland: Let me start if I may from Ireland’s point of view. Spain is a very different proposition, although Ireland are the type of team they have struggled against. It is exactly the type of team Ireland have struggled with in the recent past (like a Russia). Trappatoni has a bit of inside knowledge as well and Ireland tend not to get beat by the big teams under his guidance. Ireland have matched up well with Italy recently and haven’t been beaten by them since 1990 (please no YouTube videos of Schillaci). I agree to an extent with you John that Croatia are always a dangerous team with some really creative players like Modric, Kranjcar and Rakitic to name a few, with a seemingly never ending list of forwards who can score (Olic, Eduardo, Petric etc. I think Modric has a chance to be very influential....

Stephen King's New SciFi Tale: Fun, But Not Historically Accurate!
In addition, while Oswald had to have fired at a limousine moving at 11 mile per hour, the experts fired at stationary targets. 05% of the total Commission questions were directed at people with no direct knowledge of the crime. However, the experts were allowed to fire from a tower only half this altitude (30’) [1]. Oswald was presumed to have fired from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository, so effectively six stories up or 60’ in altitude. For the percentage of all the questions asked - with or without the Commissioners present, that went up a mighty three tenths of a point, to 4. 1 % of the total for which the Commissioners were present. Let's even leave out for now, the fact that a trained team of expert marksmen was unable to replicate Oswald's alleged feat....

#occupywallstreet
Since the RNC actions in NYC of 2004, I'm convinced that this tactic of starting shit with participants of street actions is a way of not only taking activists off the streets, but to discourage would-be participants and send a general message to... Anyway, that message didn't seem to work yesterday because there were many people who came to see what was happening despite the media lock-out earlier in the week. There were about 300 people when we arrived at 2 PM and it was a chill vibe despite the fact that the night before the police began their usual harassment routines to rid of demonstrators or create an environment of fear and demoralization. I eaves-dropped on, it seems some came down because they had heard about...
[via 1UP ] Square Enix has confirmed via Twitter that the 16-bit classic Final Fantasy III will be coming to PSN. It's been a few years since we've seen a new Kirby title on the DS, but it looks like Japan will be receiving one by year's end. By the way, in case you're still confused by the numbering, this game was the one that was originally released on SNES in North America as Final Fantasy III. In a break from traditional Kirby gameplay, you'll control up to ten pink fluffballs at one time with the stylus. I know Square Enix gets accused of going back to the re-release Kirby) this week, and it's said to be a side-scrolling action title. Little else is known about the game at this time, but we'll be sure to update as we hear more. However, odds are good that PS3 owners on our side of the Pacific will get a crack at it eventually....
