There was no noticeable blood at Hampton Park recently when the Wando Rugby Football Club christened its 2012 season with a 30-7 victory over the School of the Arts Ravens, a team that includes players from Academic Magnet High School, Bishop... There are three local high school club teams, including a combined Stall/Fort Dorchester team, and many more teams in the Upstate and Midlands, where Lowcountry teams play most of their games. "Being the first actual high school team in the Charleston area, we feel like pioneers, in a way," said Wando co-captain Ian Kilpatrick. The Wando team is 43 players strong, including the Huthwaites.
